REWIRED: SEE IT AGAIN
Sometimes life doesn’t destroy our vision. It just knocks the power out.
We’ve been disappointed. We’ve been hurt. Things didn’t turn out the way we thought they would, and somewhere along the way, we stopped seeing what could be.
But here’s the thing about rewiring a house: you don’t tear the house down because the electrical system needs work. We rewire it because we still believe the house has a future.

BELIEVE AGAIN
One of the hardest things to rewire is our belief system.
Because when we’ve been disappointed enough times, doubt starts sounding like wisdom. We tell ourselves, “Don’t get our hopes up. Don’t believe too much. We’ve been here before.” But faith says, “What happened before doesn’t have to determine what happens next.” Rewiring takes time. Wires have to be replaced. Connections have to be checked. Some things have to be completely redone. And sometimes God is doing the same thing in us. Maybe it’s simply about taking one step and saying: “I believe again.”

HOPE AGAIN
Hope can be a dangerous thing when you’ve been hurt. Because hope makes you vulnerable. When you’ve lost something, been disappointed, or watched a dream fall apart, it’s tempting to protect yourself by expecting nothing. But biblical hope isn’t pretending everything is perfect. Hope says, “I don’t know exactly how this is going to work out, but I believe God isn’t finished.” The house may look exactly the same on the outside, but inside, the work is happening. That’s how change often happens in us. Quietly. Slowly. One connection at a time.

REPAIR WHAT CAN BE REPAIRED
Sometimes the rewiring God wants to do in our lives involves people. Relationships get complicated. Words are spoken. Trust gets broken. People hurt each other. Sometimes we walk away when we should have stayed, and sometimes we stay when we should have walked away. But not every broken relationship has to stay broken.
Romans 12:18 says, “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” Notice that it says, if it is possible. We can’t control somebody else’s response. But we can control ours. Repair what can be repaired. And let God handle what we cannot.

BUILT TO LAST
Here’s what I’ve learned about rewiring: It isn’t about making the house look different. It's about making sure what’s happening inside can support what’s coming ahead. And maybe that’s what God is doing in us.
He’s rewiring our thinking. Our faith. Our hope. Our relationships. Our priorities.
Our understanding of who we are. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come.” New doesn’t mean we’ve never been through anything. New means what we’ve been through doesn’t get the final word. He’s preparing us for what’s next. Because we’re not being rewired just to get through today.
We’re being rewired to be built to last.
