We acknowledge that we all go through heart-crushing moments—times when the pain and grief feel relentless.

The day you walk into the office and hear that your position is no longer needed, or you’re given a false reason for your termination, leaving you feeling like a failure.

The rocky relationship that ends abruptly, through a phone call or worse, a text.

The day your marriage ends, and the one you loved walks away, leaving your life in tatters.

The gut-wrenching call that a loved one has passed, leaving a void that seems impossible to fill.

When we walk towards Easter, we can draw strength from the fact that we’re not alone. There is One who has walked the hardest roads and felt the deepest sorrows, and He is with us.

When life feels overwhelming, and the heart-cries seem too much to bear, remember: Jesus understands. He’s walked those tough roads, felt those deep pains, and still offers His love and strength to carry us through. Every Easter let’s hold on to that truth: we are not alone.

And, as we journey through our heart-cries, let’s take a moment to offer comfort to others who may be struggling. The heart of Easter is not only in the resurrection but in the resurrection of hope, love, and compassion for one another.
