Forward Friday Recap.. The Legacy Of The Seed.. What Can Grow Because We Were There.. Laser Focused 2026..

Forward Friday recaps the legacy of the seed and how the seeds of life inside each one of us are so valuable... It is a comfort to know that we can discover the seed inside us, surviving the dark moments of life even when we think nothing much is happening. Learning to grow what's inside of us; that we have purpose and impact, and that's why the seeds of our lives matter as they do. And that whatever is planted and grown in our lives lives on.
So good or not so good, those seeds matter.. And I do believe that the essence of this week speaks volumes: What can grow because we were where we were/are? It's never too late to grow good seeds!!!

Video Recap # 1
THE LEGACY OF THE SEED PART 1 — THERE’S MORE IN US! Have we ever looked at our life and wondered, “Is this really all there is?” I want to remind us of something today: There is a seed inside of us. And inside that seed are possibilities we may not even recognize yet. “If we only knew what was inside of us—the potential, the ability, the opportunity—we would do whatever helps us grow the seed inside of us.” Keep moving forward because, “What can grow because we were here?”
Video Recap # 2
THE LEGACY OF THE SEED PART 2 — WHAT BURIES US CAN GROW US
Seeds don’t grow because everything around them is perfect. They grow because they’re planted. Sometimes being planted feels a whole lot like being buried.
Disappointment. Rejection. Loss. Setbacks. Being overlooked. Walking through a season never asked for. But the moment may have just created the environment where something inside of it begins to come alive. Some of our greatest growth may happen in places where nobody sees. In the ground, but we are not necessarily buried. Keep moving forward because, “What can grow because we were here?”
Video Recap # 3
THE LEGACY OF THE SEED PART 3 — CULTIVATE WHAT’S INSIDE. A seed has potential. But potential needs cultivation. We have to pay attention to what we’re allowing into the soil of our lives. Our thoughts. Our attitudes. Our relationship. Our choices. Our faith. Because we can have a great seed and still struggle if the ground we’re growing in is unhealthy. Protect the seed. Feed it with faith. Water it with wisdom. Surround it with people who believe in growth. Growth isn’t always dramatic. The seed doesn’t look like the tree yet. But that doesn’t mean the tree isn’t coming. What’s inside us is worth growing. Keep moving forward because “What can grow because we were here?”
Video Recap # 4
THE LEGACY OF THE SEED PART 4 — OUR GROWTH ISN’T JUST ABOUT US!
Here’s where the seed story gets really powerful. A seed doesn’t grow into a tree just so the tree can admire itself. The tree eventually becomes a source of something else. Shade. Fruit. Shelter. Seeds. Maybe that’s part of the reason we’ve had to go through some of what we’ve gone through. Not because the pain was good. Not because the struggle was necessary. But because what we learn in difficult places can eventually become something that helps somebody else. Don’t underestimate what God can do with a life that has been through something. What God grows in us isn’t meant to stop with us. Our growth can become somebody else’s beginning. Keep moving forward because “What can grow because we were here?”
Video Recap # 5
THE LEGACY OF THE SEED PART 5 — THE SEED LIVES ON. One of the most beautiful things about a seed is that its story doesn’t end when it becomes a tree. It produces more seeds. And those seeds carry the possibility of another generation. That’s legacy. Legacy isn’t just about what we leave behind. It's about what we put inside somebody else while we’re still here. A word. A lesson. An example. Because one day, somebody may sit underneath the shade of something we planted and never even know our name. That’s legacy. The seed became the tree. The tree produced more seed. And the story continues.

So protect our seed.
Keep moving forward because “What can grow because we were here?”
The Seed Matters!!
