Forward Friday Recaps Part 3 & 4: Remembering an incredible man, Hubert Mills. There is always a lot to learn from the man who came from the "Rock", Bermuda!!!! Dad was always curious. Curiosity pushed him to ask “what if?” and “why not?”.
Dad's creativity kept him from freezing when things changed. He'd experiment, pivot, and invent new approaches rather than cling to a single rigid way of doing things. Maybe that's why he liked puzzles so much; it made challenges feel like puzzles, not roadblocks.
Dad had that ingenious, curious attitude that kept boredom away. Dad explored, kept learning, which fueled his confidence, resilience, and a sense of purpose. The ordinary moments were always interesting because Dad's mind was always switched on.
Check out our video recaps from the week that was! I'm sure you'll be encouraged!!!

Dad had a caring heart. He looked out for the common man or woman; he wouldn't leave anyone behind..
Some weekend helpful thoughts that come out of a look at Dad's life...
Curious — reflecting God’s relational heart. God is not distant or indifferent; He seeks, asks, and invites. A curious spirit mirrors His desire for relationship, understanding, and communion. When we are curious, we echo God’s own pursuit of hearts, truth, and deeper connection.
Creative — bearing the image of the Creator. God creates out of love, beauty, and purpose. A creative mind reflects His nature as the ultimate Creator, shaping order from chaos and meaning from nothing. Our creativity is a sacred echo of His voice saying, “Let there be.”
Ingenious — stewarding divine wisdom. God’s ingenuity is seen in the harmony, complexity, and design of creation. When we think ingeniously, we participate in His wisdom—finding redemptive solutions, bringing light where there is confusion, and using insight to serve rather than dominate.
Together, these traits reflect a life lived in God’s image—seeking, creating, and wisely building what aligns with His love and purposes.
Thanks Dad!!!
Dave
